At Delaware Nature Society (DelNature), we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to learn about and connect with our natural world.
Thanks to generous donors, we are pleased to offer full and partial scholarships to support participation in our summer camps, public programs, and school programs. Funds are limited and are offered first-come, first-serve.

School Field Trip & Overnight Experience Scholarships
Funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis exclusively for minors. Scholarships are available for day programs, extended days and overnights events. Participant fees for field trip lessons are covered at 100% for qualifying students and 50% for overnight events. Outreach programs are not eligible for scholarships.
To apply for scholarships, submit a written request on school letterhead with the following information:
- School name, teacher contact name/email/phone, program name, and program registration ID number.
- The number of students participating in the program that qualify for free or reduced cost lunch, or any other financial assistance program. Schools with 100% of the student population that qualify for free or reduced cost lunch, are awarded funds based on the percentage of students identified as low income. This data is available in that school’s most recent Profile Report from publicly available State data.
