Bucktoe Creek Preserve is a 297-acre privately-owned natural area located near Kennett Square, in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The preserve is not open to the public but can be accessed through educational programming hosted on the preserve by one of the Preserve partners, including Delaware Nature Society. Bucktoe Creek Preserve is Delaware Nature Society’s official camping area complete with Adirondack-style lean-to shelters and miles of hiking trails through forests, meadows, and ponds along the Red Clay and Bucktoe Creeks. The preserve is an excellent birding location with an annual Hawk Watch, bird walks, Motus tower, and other birding opportunities.
