Native Plant Giveaway Contest
Delaware Nature Society, in partnership with New Castle County’s Clean Stream Champion initiative, invites HOAs and community organizations to apply for a free native plant design consultation and plant package to transform a small shared space into a vibrant, pollinator-friendly garden that benefits both people and wildlife. Entries must be submitted by May 15, 2026 . One winner will be selected at random from eligible entries. Open to HOAs, community associations, civic groups, and shared residential developments. Project must be located in New Castle County, Delaware. Read the terms and conditions below for all details and rules. Planting native species supports local water quality and wildlife. Because they are adapted to our climate, they require less water and fewer chemicals, while their deep roots help filter pollutants and absorb runoff. Native plants also provide essential food and habitat for birds, butterflies, and other pollinators. Pledge to keep our waterways clean and healthy!
